If you want someone who will help you actually enjoy your day without controlling it, we're probably a good fit. We'll be together for most of the day so it matters that we vibe, and I get along with just about anyone. That said, I work best with couples who want to actually live their day, not perform it for a camera.
Documentary and candid-first. I watch, I move, I stay out of the way until something is worth capturing. A little guidance here and there during portraits, but the goal is never a directed photoshoot. It's photos that actually look like you two on a day that actually felt like yours.
Yes. My wife and I live full-time in a camper van, so travel is already part of how we live. I plan my routes around the weddings and elopements I book, which means if you reach out early enough, I can often work your date into wherever we already are or are headed. Destination weddings, national parks, international locations are all on the table.
I try to stay out of the way more than anything. I get to know you before the day, so it doesn't feel like a stranger is following you around. During portraits I'll give you a little direction to get started, then step back and let you two be yourselves. The rest of the day is mostly candids of you, your closest friends, and loved ones.
I get back to you within 24 hours. From there we hop on a quick video call to get to know each other, talk through what matters most to you, and make sure we're a good fit. I want to understand your day before anything else.
